Eric never thought he would be a farmer, and now here he is. After a four year stint in advertising, Eric now enjoys wearing gumboots and strolling along the farm, fimbo in hand.

Rebecca moved to Uganda in 2010 for work, met Eric and the rest is history. She loves baking, playing with her dog Baboon, and spends countless hours researching viral diseases affecting passion fruit plants.

Andrew has a B.S. with honors from Gulu University in Agriculture.
Previously Andrew worked for the Uganda National Agriculture Advisory Services and most recently at AgroMax Uganda, managing their Western Regional horticulture-training site.
Andrew oversees the management of the KadAfrica Kiburara Training Estate and our greenhouse nursery facilities. Andrew is KadAfricas’s very own Dr. Green Thumb.
Ann-Elise is passionate about women’s empowerment and entrepreneurship development. She has six years’ experience working in international development, with a gender and youth focus.
She joins the team bringing her experience in program management, strategic planning, and partnership development working with entrepreneurs to accelerate their businesses in Latin America and East Africa. Ann-Elise holds a BA in Global Studies, with a minor in Spanish, from Loyola University in Maryland.
Wendy is enthusiastic about community development and girl mentorship. She joins the team with experience in financial accounting and providing business support services in a hands-on and
conscientious manner to generate sustainable outcomes. Previously, Wendy worked with Deloitte and Touché East Africa, AfricaManagement Solutions Ltd and Pathway Consult.
Wendy has a Bachelor’s in Economics and Statistics from the University of Nairobi and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from Strathmore University. She enjoys reading, travelling and making crafts in her free time.
A native of Fort Portal, Alexander brings to the team extensive knowledge of the region’s markets.
Alexander joined KadAfrica after a long stint away from his home country, spending the majority of his time in Western Australia and Singapore.
With a background in Information Technology and sales he not only understands the changing markets but he also uses his experience to bring the operations team into the ‘. com’ era.
Christine has a Bachelor’s of Microfinance from Kyambogo University. She has her own passion fruit farm in Kyenjojo with 5 other youth. She also understands the challenges inherent in being a female entrepreneur after she started the Favour Baby Centre Kireka in Kampala. She previously worked with IPSOS, a global research firm where she carried reearch surveys on agriculture and financial institutions, and managed multiple projects. “She brings formidable skills in leadership and statistical analysis to KadAfrica.
Sam holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture and Entrepreneurship from Mountains of the Moon University. He has spent 3 years working with smallholder farmers in the Rwenzori region in the areas of fruit growing, food security, value addition, marketing. He worked with a microfinance institution giving agricultural loans to farmers. He conducted market research on factors affecting pineapple growing and made a coffee training manual.
We consider Rachel as more part of the family than the glue that holds our office together!
She has been with the company from its earliest days and utilizes her experience growing up in Kyenjojo to inform programmatic planning and our curriculum development.
Currently, she is in charge of keeping the office functioning on a day-to-day basis, managing petty cash, and the filing of receipts.
